Nissin Di622 Mark II With Wireless Remote Flash Capability

Japanese photo company Nissin is set to release the Di622 Mark II flash on January 6, 2011. This is an upgrade to the original Di622, with the biggest improvement being compatibility with Nikon’s CLS and Canon’s e-TTL wireless flash triggering systems.

In addition to featuring an optical triggering mode, the Di622 Mark II can act as a wireless remote on default channel 1, group A settings with either Nikon or Canon IR triggering systems. In addition, the Di622 Mark II is compatible with Nissan’s own wireless flash commander, the Nissin Di 866.

The Di622 Mark II also features PC and 3.5mm jacks for further connectivity.

Good article, though Nissin is the name of the Japanese flash manufacturer. Nissan (with A) is a car manufacturer and there is nothing in common between the two companies, apart from being Japanese.
